Differential Scanning Calorimetry

DSC measure the supplied energy to an thermally inert substance due to the temperature variation by controlled program. This technique is used to characterized polymers, pharmaceutical, food, biological, organic and inorganic compounds. Some parameters may be evaluated, such as thermal characterization, crystallinity, stability, degradation, decomposition, oxidation, polymorphism, purity degree, quality control, etc.
